TOVA, an off-kilter three-piece rock band from the UK, played their first headline show at London’s Camden Assembly in March this year. The band is recording songs with Stephen Carter (ex Gallows) as producer at Hempstead Road Studios and will be releasing a number of singles during 2019.
The band evolved from the subconscious nag of a thought many years ago into its present self in 2018. Friends and hopes that had drifted out to sea and sunk in the wreckage of life were hauled from the depths, examined on deck and thrown together to form something no one quite understands.
Is TOVA a band? A manifesto of hope? A magnetised group of people that can’t escape each other’s fates? The thread of an idea you can’t get out of your head?
Whatever you decide it to be, the march of TOVA and its search for the hopeless and the lost is unrelenting. It’s a place all can find a home within; a solace for those disillusioned by the real world.
